“How much is something like that going to cost?” That is a common question people ask themselves when they hear the concept of “Managed IT Services.” Although a very excellent question, it is actually hard to answer this without sitting down with them and discussing what they really want/need from IT.

The true goal is to analysis the clients current need and build a package around that. Some people may only want the managed web presence. Some may want only the managed firewall services. Some may want to keep their own hardware and just have the NOC/Helpdesk support. It’s really going to be tailored to the clients specific needs.

The best thing to do is to listen to all the options available and decide what is right for your company. The whole purpose of Managed IT Services is to take the burden off of the owner and let them focus on what is truly important to them: growing their business.
